_{[It's been a while since the mumbly photographer has posted to the network, and if he was aware of what he was doing, it would be a longer while yet.]

[The scene is dark and the soft sound of sleeping people and pokemon can be heard. The only light comes from Henry's poke'gear and it illuminates his un-shaven face. He's hunkered down in his sleeping bag and idly scrolling through the network.]

[He looks about like anyone surfing the poke'net. He is very still, save for scratching under his nose on occasion or readjusting his grip on the gear. He is very quiet. He smiles once in a while as he reads something amusing.]

[Then that silence is broken by a Profound Late Night Henry Thought.]}

What if we sound the same to pokemon as they sound to us. So all our pokemon really hear when we talk to them is... Jason Jason Jason. Jason Jason. Jason.

_{[Henry falls silent again and starts his network surfing again when a groggy writer scolds him from off screen.]}

Henry, go to sleep.

_{[Henry's face blanks and he glances to one side and tries his very very best to act like he hadn't just been talking to himself and was, in fact, actually asleep. Then his face is obscured by a pillow being wielded by a pair of scrawny, freckled arms. The feed cuts with an "UMPF!"]}

_{[The reply is rather delayed. The room around Henry is much brighter when he gets back to the Other Father.]}

_{[Henry can't help himself. He cracks a little grin at the Othermon.]}

[From the calling of Henry, he knows you're not Jason. So obviously you should give the Poké talking a shot too! It's fun.]

_{[If she's gonna be grounded, she doesn't wanna listen to Henry's half-baked ramblings at three o'clock in the morning. >8I]

[Which is why she's hanging off of the bed trying to push herself back up onto it ater leaning out to whack Henry with the pillow.]}

_{[HEATHER WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT HE'S TOTALLY ASLEEP. SEE HE'S EVEN SNORING.]}

_{[Okay, fake-snoring is just as bad. Straightening up on one arm, Heather glares at the prone, dimly-illuminated form of the photographer and uses the other hand to make another swing at him with the pillow.]}

_{[Henry jolts violently and squints up at Heather pitifully. LOOK WHAT YOU DID, HEATHER. Waking innocent people up in the middle of the night!]}

Heather, what are you doing, go to sleep.

_{[It's a good thing it's dark, because the look she's sending Henry could kill.]}

Wh-- don't you pretend-- shut up!

_{[Scowling, Heather finally manages to haul herself back onto the bed backwards, pillow in hand.]}

I'm gonna smother you.

_{[NO HEATHER DON'T BE JAMES.]}

[Look who else is awake at ridiculous hours!]

But then how would they know what attacks we were telling them to use?

_{[Delayed message is delayed. The room is bright when Henry gets back to his friend.]}

[And Envy has actually not slept at all in the meantime. Damn it, Lavender Town.]

Well, it'd explain why they don't listen half the time.

I bet there have been poke-hippies for years that have tried and failed and gotten their heads exploded by Kadabras or something.

I can't see why not...they can bend spoons.

Spoons are pretty different than heads.

A spoon is made of metal. If it can bend that just thinking about it, I dont wanna know what those things can do to your organs.
