[Henry glances up from a notebook he's been jotting down portfolio ideas in. He's already in his work scrubs but hasn't shuffled off for the night. It seems he has already left the house once to go grab a bag of Ronald McDewgong's though.]
Yeah, uh oh is right. This one's the only one I brought home-- his dad didn't want to keep him. No idea why, he seems like a normal Murkrow to me.
[Apparently getting fed up with being trapped in a blanket, the bundle starts to move even more, and before long, a little black, feathery head POPS right out of its soft prison, beak opening wide.]
[He turns his chair a little so that he can face Envy and the little reject, his brows coming together. Envy was right. It really does look like a normal little bird.]
Even my most maladjusted Pokemon didn't reject any of their babies...can I look at him?
[POP goes the Murkrow! The little fledgling emerges from his prison and gives a few indignant caws as he hops around the table.]
He looks normal...
[Henry reaches for his bag and pulls out a few fries, sampling two himself and offering one to the bird. The Murkrow's eyes light up and he instantly tips his head back and opens his mouth in the classic I AM BABY PLEASE FEED ME pose. Henry tosses the fry into his beak and it's gone in an instant. He quickly returns to the begging position.]
Seems pretty alert...want me to see if anyone at the Center wants him?
[A small smile creeps across his face as the bird keeps begging and hopping in place.]
[Not that he's holding promises to Walter in especially high regard, but...this reject baby is special ok Envy has to make sure he's taken care of. He snickers at the begging, though.]
He sure seems to like you, though. Or the fries. Either one.
[WREN IS THE WORST BIRD OKAY. SHE IS JUST. ALL BIRDS.]
[Meawhile, Not Wren hopped forward and started tugging on Henry's shirt, putting on a big show to get his attention before opening up like a garbage can again.]
Heh, alright little guy. Envy, try this.
[He offers Envy a few fries before dropping another into the Murkrow's beak.]
Not that I can remember. Wowlter tried to kill me when we met and Wren has broken at least two of my lenses. I think the only reason Lyra hasn't bothered me is because I don't wear anything sparkly.
[The baby Murkrow whips his head around when Envy offers the fry. YES! Hop! Hop! Hop! He leaps up and nearly snaps one of Envy's fingers.]

Hey, Envy.
[His eyes fall on the bundle. And the beak.]
Uh oh.

[Envy sets the bundle down on the table, the little bird wriggling and flapping to get loose from the blanket as soon as he's not being held.]
