I just remembered something today and had to laugh about it.

A while back, when I broke my foot, I was on some heavy pain medication for the first few days. It got to a point where I couldn't tell if I was dreaming or awake and apparently had dreamed an entire conversation with Heather about wanting some cereal and I got increasingly upset that no one was helping me make the cereal.

Has anything like that ever happened to you?

Oh man. That had to be weird. What did you remember in your hallucination?

Space battles. Being chased. Wanting to see my mother.

I'm pretty sure it was stuff that actually happened.

Woah.

I know you used to be a bird and everything but I didn't know you were also from space.

I'm not, but my dad was. Sort of. Maybe not biologically. It's really confusing.

What were you doing that made you hallucinate like that?

You know what. I'll take your word on it. In other news, I found a Fletchling feather near the mailbox yesterday if you want to see it?

Yeah, sure.

Also now that I think about it I did once dream about falling out of my tree and freaked out when I woke up still in my tree.

That is the most bird thing I've ever read in my life.

It's not that different from dreaming about falling out of bed.

Also you're really good at that. I'm mostly just good at sketches.

I wish I could draw better. I could show you a few things about composition if you showed me some drawing techniques. I bet you could take some great photos flying with your Pokemon.

Probably, but it's usually wiser to keep two hands on your Pokemon when you're flying. But I'd be happy to show you some drawing techniques. I'm not really the best, but I'd like to think I'm pretty okay.

You think so? I'm glad. I think I'm starting to get back to where I was before the whole 'no thumbs' thing was an issue. I used to doodle while staring out the window in class all the time.
