Room 032 [Action for Mahogany]

[It's not terribly hard to spot that Townshend boy as he weaves in and out around the buildings of chilly Mohagany Town because of the trail of smoke following him.]

[Cigarette in his lips and camera at his eye, he's all about taking pictures of everyone and everything today. He's got a brand new roll of film and by Arceus he's going to use it!]

[ON YOU.]

[ Snake takes a drag from his cigarette and exhales before taking out a small container and putting away the smoke, for later. ]

You have any boxes handy?

[ An exasperated sigh. ]

... There are some by the Pokemon Center. Come on. [ Starts walking. ]

If you want to remain out of sight, a box is more than just something to store items in. A box could save your life.

[ Once they're close enough, he picks up one of the (larger) empty Pokemon Center boxes and quickly equips it, crouching down on the ground with it over top of him. MAGIC HE'S GONE. ]

[ It's not long before Snake emerges from under the box, standing up and sporting a very smug look on his face. He can tell by Henry's expression that he'd just blown his mind. ]

Most people underestimate the usefulness of a cardboard box. They overlook it, and that's why it's the perfect means for going around undetected. If you use a box, you'll be able to take pictures from anywhere, and no one will be able to find you.

[ ... Well. ]

But time and place matter... You can't just use a cardboard box out in the desert. Around here it's perfect because boxes are being moved almost all the time. Outside a restaurant or Mart or Pokemon Center, you'll be undetected.

Just as long as you don't let anyone see you as you're going into the box, it should be okay. Take care of your box, and it'll take care of you.

[ Snake watches Henry awkwardly shuffle under the large washing machine box, before he sighs a bit. ]

Of course it's dark. There aren't any holes in it, you can't see. [ Snake shook his head. ] If you can't see what's going on, then that box is nothing more than a cardboard prison... Or coffin.

You need to be able to see so you can more easily avoid detection.

[ Does Solid Snake have a knife? Yes, yes he does. Not his good ol' stun knife, but it'd work out. If course the last time he had used the stun knife, Liquid had jammed it into his shoulder, so maybe it was better that he didn't have it. He takes out a swiss-army knife he picked up and passes it under the box for Henry. ]

I'd be screwed if I didn't have a knife with me. I don't usually like cutting up cardboard boxes, but... Well, in this case, it's necessary. [ Snake you're weird. ] You should be able to get a lot of pictures of people now, as long as your camera isn't too loud.

[ Snake makes an amused grunt. ]

If someone's coming, slide to the back of the box to avoid being seen. Just make sure you don't hide in the back of a truck or something, or you might get shipped somewhere.
imthe_shit: (that's... not a good sign.)

[ ... Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. ]

It's not a bad way to travel... If you know where you're going anyway.

Just be sure to be quiet yourself when you're in there.

[ ... Well, his job here was done. Snake nods his head before wandering off. Good luck, Henry Boxshend. ]
